I found my Steve!

I was having a terrible time putting a face to the hero in my current wip. I always give my characters "faces" and here I was, halfway through the rough draft, and still no face for my most important character. My hero! So after a lot of inspiration and help from my friends over at the Title Wave blog, I finally found him.

Dermot Mulroney, who, coincidentally, I've always found a little wooden, but no more. Now that I've "given" him my hero's personality, I'll never think of him as anything but Steve!

A hero that'a a little "wooden" isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I'm just saying...

;o)

I think this is the sexiest picture of Dermot I have ever seen. And I've always liked him!

He he... I agree, L. Sometimes wooden has it advantages.

And yes,Mel, this pic definitely does it for me! I have it pinned next to my collage on the bulletin board over my writing desk. For inspiration, of course.

Erin, we agree!!!!

You should check out the movie, The Wedding Date starring Dermot if you need some more inspiration, Maria!

Marly, you couldn't possible know this, but Maria is not a fan of the chick flick. Although I was enamored by The Wedding Date, our beloved Maria found it trite and cheesy.

Sigh. I know. I just didn't like the movie. Even though I really like Debra Messing, it just seemed, so well, like Erin said, cheesy! However, that being said, I certainly CAN appreciate the uhm, bathroom scenes featuring Dermot!

Wow. What a great picture! He's too sexy for his shirt. :)

I didn't care for The Wedding Date either, even though I like the actors.
