Okay, back to Blaze of Memory. This was the surprise I was talking about last week. I'm thrilled to be hosting New York Times bestseller and fellow Berkley author Nalini Singh on her world wide blog tour to promote her newest book in the Psy/Changeling series.

Nalini Singh returns to the Psy/Changeling world and its “breathtaking blend of passion, adventure, and the paranormal” as a woman without a past becomes the pawn of a man who controls her future…

Dev Santos discovers her unconscious and battered, with no memory of who she is. All she knows is that she’s dangerous. Charged with protecting his people’s most vulnerable secrets, Dev is duty-bound to eliminate all threats. It’s a task he’s never hesitated to complete…until he finds himself drawn to a woman who might yet prove the enemy’s most insidious weapon.

Stripped of her memories by a shadowy oppressor, and programmed to carry out cold-blooded murder, Katya Haas is fighting desperately for her sanity itself. Her only hope is Dev. But how can she expect to gain the trust of a man who could very well be her next target? For in this game, one must die…

Sounds awesome, doesn't it? To Read an excerpt click here.

Hi Maria! I've been wanting to read Nalini Singh ever since I first heard her name, just because it's so unusual. The answer to the contest question is the highly original favorite Eve and Rourke from the In Death series by JD Robb. I'm sure no one else will pick them...

Hmm. Well, in TV I would have to say Rory and Dean from Gilmore Girls, in movie it would be Elisabeth and Mr.Darcy from Pride and Prejudice (with Keira knightely) and in book....that's so much harder. Maybe Bella and Edward form Twilight? Yes, definitely them. Still love that book! :)

I'd have to say on TV Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl, and from a book Elena and Raphael from Angels' Blood.

Oooh, hard one...

* Evie & Rick from The Mummy
* Kagome & Inuyasha from Inuyasha
* Jamie & Elizabeth from A Dance Through Time
* Mr. Darcy & Elizabeth from Pride & Prejudice
* Buffy & Angel from BtVS

There are probably more, but those are the first ones that come to mind. Thanks for giving us a chance to win! :)

I love Sebastian and Evie in The Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas. I loved how their differences and flaws made them a perfect fit!

Oh ack - favorite couples in fiction? Isabel and Ren from Breathing Room. Gracie and Bobby Tom from Heaven, Texas. Cal and Min from Bet Me. :)
I guess I like the couples that are "lighter" - but I enjoy many different genres.
