Napoleon had his Waterloo...and so did I
Unfortunately, it came in the form of Round 3 of the American Title II Contest. But there are still 4 fantastic writers battling it out to be this year's winner. Two of them, Gina Black and Michele Young are RWA Online chapter mates of mine. All 4 ladies have great dialogue scenes featured in this round, so don't forget to vote. Go to www.americantitle2.com by March 5. This round is crucial and every vote is important!
As I've said before, this contest has been a wonderful learning tool for me. I'd like to thank everyone who voted and lent me such unconditional support--my fellow RWA Online chapter mates, my family, friends and especially all the wonderful people who work in Labor and Delivery at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. You rock!

Wow, I feel like I've been thanked in someone's Oscar speech! Sorry you didn't make it to the finals, but you know you'll always be L&D's favorite story teller!!
Maria, you're awesome. You're story is awesome. Life goes on. :)
Things happen for a reason, and since I'm always right, I can say that. LOL
I'm so glad Mel is always right.
(((Maria))) I've loved being in this competition with you. We'll always be Sister Title-ists. :)
Maria,
At this risk of sounding redundant, I really loved your entry and I just KNOW it will sell. I can't wait to buy it when it does. :)
Also, you're truly gracious in that you've been cheering on the other ladies in the competition--and it's clear that you sincerely wish them the best. What a gal! :)
Aw, Ellen, you're going to make me blush! Thanks for your kind words. You'll never know how much they mean to me.
As far as cheering the other ladies on, I know they would do exactly the same for me. We're fortunate to belong to such a great group of writers!
